This resource provides working learners insight into how to prepare for an interview, tips and tricks for the day of their interview, and next steps to take after their interview. The intention is to focus on the unique nature of student employment at a college or university and support the student in utilizing their resources accordingly.

Virginia Commonwealth University is committed to incorporating reflection into all experiential learning including student employment.  Supervisors regularly discuss REAL opportunities (relevant, experiential and applied learning).  This resource was adapted to specifically support supervisors to facilitate reflection throughout the student employment experience.  This example resource serves as a guide that can be adapted and leveraged at any institution. 

ASU currently contracts with SkillSurvey to provide assessments to ASU working learners. This guide will take you through steps and tips to assist you as you navigate through the SkillSurvey assessment with your working learner.
